In the land of Webs long ago many webrings were made, magic rings as you might call them, and they were, of course, of various kinds: some more potent like Ringlink and some less like WebRing, RingSurf, and SiteRing. The lesser rings were only essays in the craft before it was full-grown, and to the RingMasters they were but trifles - yet still to my mind dangerous for mere WebMasters because of the bad HTML codes and twisted JavaScripts. But the Great Rings, the Rings powered by LoR, these were things of beauty, the likes of which will take your breath away in awe of their stunning perfection!!
~ The Ring Legend ~
Three Rings for the Ring Kings on the Web,
Seven for the Ring Masters in their halls of HTML,
Nine for Mortal Web Masters doomed to crash,
One for Lord WebRing on his glittering throne
In the Land of WebRing where the JavaScripts lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of RingSurf where the Shadows lie.
He paused, and then said in a deep voice,
"This is the Master-Ring, the One Ring System to rule them all.
This is the One Ring System lost many years ago,
to the great weakening of its maker's power.
Now, he greatly desires to have it again,
- but he must NOT get it!"
~ The LoR Webring System ~
